Effective October 28, 2026. This notice applies to the Local Site Tools Google connection operated for NorCal Handyman, rather than customer estimate requests on this website.
Information accessed and purpose
After authorization, Local Site Tools accesses the connected Google account’s basic profile and email address and read-only Google Search Console data. This is used to identify the connection and display website search-performance reports for the selected property.
Storage and sharing
The application and its saved connection run on the operator’s computer. OAuth credentials and authorization tokens are stored locally to maintain the connection. Google processes authorization and API requests. Publishing these information pages on WordPress does not publish the connected account’s tokens or Search Console reports.
The Google connection is used for website reporting, not advertising targeting. Google user data is not sold or used to train generalized AI models. Access is limited to the operator and tools the operator authorizes for this reporting workflow.
Disconnect and deletion
The account holder can revoke Local Site Tools access in their Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access prevents further authorized requests but does not itself remove previously saved reports. To request deletion of locally saved connection data or reports, contact support@hometownlift.com.
Local Site Tools’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
